EVENT 1 (First of Four)

BINSEY

Binsey Lodge, GR NY235351, 3km off A591 Between Bothel & Keswick

WEDNESDAY JULY 9th

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PARKING IS NOT ON THE A591, as the Motor Bike Scramblers use the area on Wednesdays. We are at BINSEY LODGE GR NY235351 - From the Scramble area go south on the A591, turn left to Bewaldeth (& Payphone!) and proceed East for 3km to Binsey Lodge.

The car parking is roadside near the layby at NY235351. However, to add to the excitement, the grass verge on the stretch of road between the layby and Binsey Lodge (about 100m) is currently an ADAS vegetation research site and we are being asked not to disturb the vegetation there, so we MUST NOT PARK along that 100m stretch. (It is intended to tape this area off, but please be extra vigilant – we want to come back again!.)

Start between 6.30pm – 7pm

Three Courses:-
            Novice 2.0km 110m

            Short 3.5km 165m
            Long 4.8km

Fees £1.50 Adults, 50p Juniors.

Friendly, informal.  Ideal for runners, walkers, families, map-readers.  Best three results on same course each week count for League, or just run once or twice for fun.
